Ingredients

- 2 lbs oxtail or goat meat
- 1 tbsp Jamaican curry powder
- 1 tsp allspice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 Scotch bonnet pepper, sliced (optional)
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season meat with curry, allspice, salt, and garlic. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- In a pan, heat oil and brown the meat on all sides.
- Transfer to slow cooker. Add onions, scallions, coconut milk, and Scotch bonnet.
- Cook on low for 6–8 hours until tender.
- Adjust seasoning and serve with rice and peas or steamed cabbage.

- You can substitute goat meat with beef stew cuts.
