- These hawaiian roll cinnamon rolls are soft, gooey, and incredibly easy to make. Using sweet Hawaiian rolls instead of traditional dough creates a quick cinnamon roll recipe ready in about 30 minutes.

- 1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls (12 count)
8 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 ounces cream cheese
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish.
Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally while keeping them connected.
Mix butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt to create the filling.
Spread most of the mixture on the bottom half of the rolls.
Place the top layer back and spread the remaining mixture on top.
Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
Mix cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt to create frosting.
Spread frosting over warm rolls and serve.
Notes
- Use room temperature butter for smoother filling.
Do not separate the rolls before baking.
Serve warm for best flavor.
