- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 diced onion
- 1 diced red bell pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups beef broth
- 8 lasagna noodles, broken
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef with onions and garlic.
- Transfer to slow cooker with peppers, tomatoes, broth, and seasoning.
- Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
- Add noodles during the last 30 minutes.
- Serve with cheese toppings and optional basil.
Notes
- For freezing, omit noodles and add them fresh when reheating.
