- 2 cups cranberry sauce
- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: rosemary, thyme, cinnamon sticks
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare the turkey with herbs and butter.
- Roast turkey for 3–4 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
- While turkey roasts, boil potatoes until tender. Mash with butter and cream.
- Layer potatoes in a baking dish, top with cheese, and bake until golden.
- Prepare cranberry sauce and any additional sides.
- Arrange everything on the table and serve warm.
