Instructions
- ream butter with sugars until fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla; mix until smooth.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips or chunks.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes.
- Scoop and bake at 350°F for 9–11 minutes.
Notes
- For pumpkin variation, add 1/4 cup pumpkin puree and 1/2 tsp cinnamon.
- Chill dough longer for thicker cookies.
