- Tender BBQ ribs on the grill with a smoky dry rub and homemade barbecue sauce. Perfect for backyard cookouts and summer grilling.
Ingredients

- 3–4 pounds spare ribs
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup smoked paprika
2 tablespoons kosher salt
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons black pepper
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- Preheat grill for indirect heat around 200°F.
Mix dry rub spices in a bowl.
Pat ribs dry and remove membrane.
Rub seasoning over both sides of ribs.
Wrap ribs in foil and place on indirect heat side of grill.
Cook for about 3 hours until tender.
Prepare BBQ sauce by simmering sauce ingredients in a saucepan for 7 minutes.
Increase grill heat to 450°F.
Brush ribs with sauce and grill for 2 minutes per side to caramelize.
Let ribs rest for 10 minutes, slice, and serve.

- Use spare ribs for the juiciest results.
Allow ribs to rest before slicing for best texture.
