  7. 1 tbsp fresh sage, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (or prepare slow cooker).
  • Cube and dry bread overnight or toast in the oven.
  • Sauté onions, celery, and carrots in butter for 8–10 minutes.
  • Add garlic, sage, thyme, and rosemary. Stir to combine.
  • Place bread cubes in a large bowl. Mix with sautéed vegetables.
  • Gradually add warm broth while tossing to moisten.

  • Or cook on LOW in crockpot for 3–4 hours, stirring once.
